Academic background

Study of mathematics, philosophy and physics at the universities of Heidelberg and Constance. Study of psychology and pedagogy at the university of education in Weingarten. For many years teacher at school and in adult education. 1999 Ph.D. in Philosophy of mathematics (University of Constance). Since 1999 Lecturer of mathematics and didactics of mathematics at the University of Education in Weingarten. 2006 Habilitation for mathematics and didactics of mathematics. 2006-2007 Guest-Professorship at the University of Education Heidelberg. Publication of several papers on protogeometry and didactics of mathematics, many speeches in congresses and invited lectures at universities in Germany and abroad.
